This is my top 10 Baltimore attractions if I were to put together a list for a travel magazine. So this isn't necessarily my favorite attractions. I'm not considering neighborhoods in this.

1. National Aquarium: A top 5 aquarium in the county.

2. American Visionary Art Museum: A great and rather unusual art museum.

3. Orioles Park: One of the premier ballparks in the world.

4. Fort McHenry: Great historic sight.

5. B&O Railroad Museum: Plenty of historical significance here, but the real draw is the amazing train collection.

6. Baltimore Museum of Art: A more traditional art museum that is done very well and free.

7. The Walters Art Museum: An interesting and historic collection which is also free to the public.

8. Historic Ships: Pretty cool to check out and there's nice views of the harbor, federal hill, etc.

9. Maryland Science Center: A very good science museum featuring a fun interactive exhibit along with dinosaurs.

10. Reginald F. Lewis Museum: Does a great job of showing the history of African Americans in Maryland.

For a tourist destination, or travel magazine, maybe pick your favorite art museum for the list, but sub out the other two with the Babe Ruth museum (tons of cultural significance) and the Edgar Allen Poe house.

Or not. Arts people probably appreciate the different types on display at the different places. Could combine Babe Ruth museum as the Pregame before taking in a game at Yard for the total baseball experience.

Well those are all really good art museums and quite different from each other.

The Babe Ruth Museum is definitely worth visiting, but it's not on the level of the art museums imo.

9) Conklin St between Pulaski Hwy and Eastern Ave, to find a hooker

 

8) Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, for a remedy from what you picked up from said hooker (conveniently only about 10 blocks east of Conklin!)

 

7) The Rt 40 expressway in West Baltimore (a.k.a. the Highway to Nowhere), no better monument to Baltimore’s futility when it comes to building transportation infrastructure

 

6) Ritz Cabaret (a.k.a. Orlando’s strip club in The Wire)

 

5) The Block….as long as you’re hitting up strip clubs…

 

4) Royal Farms Arena….Baltimore’s building futility doesn’t just end with transportation.

 

3) The park at the NE corner of Bond and Chase Sts….where Marlo Stanfield held court.

 

2) Lexington Terrace - Avon’s high rises

 

1) 1800 block of N Bethel St - Hamsterdam!

I think they have bus tours for famous shows like The Sopranos and Sex and the City. Should totally put together a Wire bus tour. Have to make people sign a waiver though. Not responsible for their safety.
