If you've never heard "Chutes Too Narrow" you should probably get on that.

Fantastic record.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

It's fantastic. I love all of their older stuff too. I was turned on to them by a good friend of mine (not really), one Zach Braff (Garden State soundtrack).

Edit: Just realized Chutes was their 2nd studio album - so my bad.

Dammit, I just gave Chutes Too Narrow a listen for the first time in about 10 months or so. I know what I'll be listening to for the next few weeks now. So great.

The song "Young Pilgrims" is just gold.

Also, the harmonica near the end of "Pink Bullets" slays me every time. "Warm light on a winter's day".

"Young Pilgrims" is my favorite song of theirs. "Saint Simon" a close second on that record.

The new album is pretty good too, I was worried that I'd be disappointed, but it's great.

PS: I love you guys.

Good stuff Seth!

I just listened to "It's Only Life" from Port Of Morrow... fantastic song. I love the message that Mercer is always trying to deliver.

I've just gotten into them over the past couple months due to an Amazon 2.99 Indie album sale, and I agree that they're a very good band.

Nice!

I just kind of stopped listening to the latest record after a while, and haven't gone back to it for some reason.
