One of the gifts I'm getting for my mom are two tickets to a game this year (she loves baseball).

Anyway, since single game tickets aren't on sale yet (hell, season plan holders haven't even gotten billed yet), there is really no way to "give" them as a gift, you know?  And I'd rather not say "well, I don't actually have it yet, but I am getting us tickets to a game.  Merry Christmas!"

Short of writing "IOU" on two pieces of paper, is there any way to "present" this gift in some sort of actual form?  It doesn't need to be anything super flashy but it would be nice if there was something to actually "open" you know?

Thanks.

You could give her another Orioles related gift and attach 2 hand made or google image like tickets to the item you get her.

If you know the two games already, you could just create something quick in Paint that looks like two tickets. Maybe use cardstock or something to make it "authentic" looking.

I like Rob's idea of buying something O's related (maybe a hat or tumbler or coffee mug) as well.

My level of ability to create graphics on a computer combined with my artistic talent level is somewhere at a second grade level.

If you have two of your tickets from last year and aren't one to save all your tickets, you can just use those and explain either verbally or in the gift that those aren't the actual tickets.

Kelly drew me tickets to a Wiz game last year because she didn't yet have them in hand. That's a cute idea even if you aren't artistic and you'll get points for trying, or just totally made fun of.

Probably too late, but I bet the ticket office would've printed you out some blanks.

Next year buy team gift certificates.  Then print the date and time.  Very easy.

Are you just giving your Mom the tickets or are you taking her to the game?  You could do a elementary school style card and "good for one visit to Camden Yards" ticket made of construction paper.

Mackus can probably make some tickets out of some leftover wood.

You could make an intentionally kid-looking version of a homemade Valentines Day card... "Will  you be my Valentine on July 19th at Oriole Park and sit next to me in Section xxx,, Row XX, Seat YY"
