Book is #29 on Kindle's true crime rankings. Ahead of popular books on Steven Avery, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy.

Pretty cool

Edit: Now it's at 20!

I'm at #13 on Kindle's true crime rankings. Pulled ahead of Marcia Clark's new book on OJ.

Looking back, was there ever a moment when you almost made some big mistake?  Or were you mostly goof-proof about the whole thing?

Hell, when we took a whole hour in the Grand Jury room practically begging them to indict the women, I was sweating that part.

My show, Too Pretty to Live, rebroadcasts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, on Investigation Discovery.

Was the indictment really that in doubt? Seems crazy considering the evidence you had

The story is too crazy for people to absorb quickly when they're making a decision that takes away someone's liberty.

Every jury I had for this case, on opening statement, they had the most confused looks on their faces despite however simply I put the story. It's just hard to believe people can be that stupid.

Dennis, I just finished your book on Kindle. You did a fantastic job writing about a fascinating case. Very well done. I would advise everyone to read it. I also watched the ID episode, it was good even though they left out a lot of important information. I'd love to watch the 20/20 episode if I could find it.

Thank you so much. You can't imagine how much I appreciate that. Getting used to user reviews has been a growing process for me. Some readers go out of their way to be scathing, and sometimes I've wondered if it was their way to act like they were smarter than a lawyer. I realize I'm not Ernest Hemingway, but I thought I wrote a decent book.

The ID show was better than the 20/20 one.
