Nice. That's perfect if you can get some of the better games.

I usually get to buy my choice of 5-6 games.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

CSN Mid-Atlantic: Maryland again pulls from Virginia to hire offensive line coach

http://www.csnmidatl...sive-line-coach

“I’m thrilled to round out my initial coaching staff at Maryland with the addition of Dave Borbely,” Durkin said in a statement. “Dave has a wealth of experience coaching the offensive line and he is an outstanding teacher of the game. I know he’s excited about working with and developing our student-athletes.”

Now that this would appear to fill out the coaching staff it's interesting that no one from the previous staff was kept. You typically see one person held over just for continuity with the players and other aspects of being familiar with the campus.

Also interesting that we haven't heard about any transfers yet. I guess that means everyone on the current team likes Durkin and Co so far....though I wouldn't rule out transfer(s) during or after spring practice, when the changes start to become reality for the players.

I imagine we will start hearing where members of the former staff will be working in 2016. Today Ohio State hired former OL coach Greg Studrawa.

Perhaps the staff isn't complete just yet.

Baltimore Sun: Football coach Biff Poggi on leaving Gilman after 19 years: 'I felt like it was time'

Rumors have been swirling about Poggi's future since the end of last season. He was offered an assistant coaching position at Maryland on new head coach DJ Durkin's staff in December, but said he had to consider it and decide whether it was a good fit for him.

Michigan is the other coaching offer he has. His son Henry will be a redshirt junior there this coming season.

InsideMDSports: Report: Maryland Hires Former High School Coach on Staff

http://maryland.247s...-Staff-43720606

Per WKYC, Maryland has hired former Benedictine (Oh.) High School head coach Joe Schaefer on the staff. While the news has not been confirmed by the program, Schaefer has been hired as a quality control coach within the program.

Schaefer led Benedictine to a 12-1 record in 2015 and elevated the program to the 13th-best team in the state of Ohio, per Maxpreps. Schaefer's was considered very successful as he led the program to a state tile in 2014 and a 35-6 overall record since 2013. The Ohio coach has a connection to the program after playing under current head coach DJ Durkin at Bowling Green. At the time, Durkin served as the special teams' coordinator and linebackers coach.
