Here are his new contract details:
2013- $14.5M
2014- $14.5M
2015- No idea what the salary is, but it becomes a player option if Peavy reaches innings thresholds in 2013 and 2014
Pretty good deal, especially if Peavy can stay healthy.

Perfect through six-and-a-third, only gave up a hit to Trout.
Not bad.

Chris Sale tonight against the Angels:
NASTY.
wow.
Plenty of things I've been wrong about, but I was higher on Sale than most when he was drafted. Another ridiculous outing tonight.

Watching the White Sox/Royals right now, and Harrelson just said that the Sox gave up 30 unearned runs last year, and they've already given up 31 this year, including a few that cost them the game today.
He then said as the game was ending, "and that's why we're in last place".
Honesty.

CBS Sports: Peavy could still be dealt, but it appears it won't be to A's
http://www.cbssports...t-wont-be-to-as
As of Monday evening, Peavy was still scheduled to pitch for the White Sox on Tuesday in Cleveland. But as one White Sox person pointed out, even a Peavy appearance in that game could be counted as one final showcase for a possible trade; an army of scouts was already in Cleveland to watch the first game of the White Sox-Indians series Monday.

ESPN: Adam Dunn mulling retirement
http://espn.go.com/c...ring-retirement
I'm not sure if he'll actually retire but as much as we talk about money and it's a big factor don't get me wrong but it's not the only factor. Even when you already have a lot of money like Dunn, $15 million isn't enough to get you comeback that says a lot.
