That guy has a HOF ballot.
He voted this year - Griffey only.

That's annoying... The rest of the BBWAA should be ashamed having him as part.

Who I'd vote for:
Bonds
Clemens
Griffey
Bagwell
Piazza
Schilling
Mussina
Raines
McGwire
Edgar
I like your list but think I would do Walker or Trammell over McGwire if I had a vote. I'll say Trammell for the urgency.

I hope this is true.

McGwire has the same urgency since they lowered the time on the ballot to 10 years.
I'm good with either, but wouldn't bother with altering my hypothetical ballot in this case since neither guy will come close to getting in anyway. So in that case, I prefer McGwire due to his dominance with the bat. Walker is borderline for me.

There should be some actual baseball people involved in determining which guys have enough of a clue to get a vote...

A realistic great outcome would be Griffey, Piazza, Bagwell, and Raines.
That would get 4 very deserving guys in, two of which there is some concern over if they'll ever get the call (especially Raines) and would really do a lot to clear the backlog for next year with Trammell and McGwire also dropping off the ballot.
Next year has some good candidates in Pudge, Vlad, Manny, and Posada, but no sure fire guys there and no else to get enough votes to hang around the ballot.
However, it will sadly probably just be Griffey and Piazza.

Im still not sure McGwire deserves to be in.

Due to PED's and/or performance?

That guy has a HOF ballot.
That's silly. Everyone knows that bloggers should not have Hall of Fame ballots.

Due to PED's and/or performance?
Combo of both. I think he was likely on PEDS his whole career. And as great of a slugger as he was, that was his only value he brought to the table. I know I still would not be voting for him at this point. .

Well I don't care much about the PEDs, but I agree that his resume on performance alone is not overwhelming. Durability and longevity weren't strong suits of his resume. He also didn't bring much to the table besides his bat.
But that bat was special. Best homer to AB ratio ever, 10th in career OPS+, and a ridiculous peak. It's difficult for me to say no to that. I can see not voting for him because there may be more than 10 deserving candidates, but otherwise it's hard for me to convince myself he's not a HOF'er even with how much I value guys having a complete game.

Seems like he got it right. Lots of people are in the anti-Hoffman crowd because of the saves and saves only but I have no problem putting him in.
I wouldn't vote for Hoffman, at least not with better candidates out there, but I'm not outraged by it. Good overall ballot there.
I think I would actually support Wagner more so than Hoffman, even though both are borderline at best IMO.

Well, Kenny-boy said something I actually like... more or less (I'm not so sure about Schilling...)
I just hope it's not him spreading another dang rumor...

I just looked, and I take that back... he's not a no-brainer, but he probably deserves it...
I was mainly reacting to the combo of his time with the Desertsnakes plus the damned bloody sock... when that happened, I just knew the combination of those two would probably get him into the HOF regardless, and that annoyed me... but he did enough stuff aside from the postseason to be an OK vote...

Schilling is the best k/bb guy of all time and was a monster in the post-season.
To have him out of the HOF is to make the whole establishment seem worthless.
Then again, the HOF is about to say "no thanks" to the second greatest hitter and one of the five best pitchers ever so....
