I've always liked B-Rob. My heart tells me I'd like to have him back on a cheap deal next year. He seems to be healthy, comfortable, and is starting to run a bit which is very encouraging.
My head tells me it's very foolish to expect him to stay healthy for the entire season in 2014 for the first time since 2009.
What are the other options at 2B?
Let me clarify something which i should've done initially, we would still need to get (or retain) a reliable 2B.
I'm just throwing out a number, we offered him a contract of $2 million excluding incentives. Is he going to get a better deal elsewhere?
The other options: Ryan Flaherty? I'm sure there will be some FAs. Maybe we could work out a trade.
