Penn State will arrive in Baltimore at 5-2 overall, 2-1 in Big Ten play. Last night they lost 38-10 at Ohio State.

The Nittany Lions figure to have a large contingent of fans on hand.

Now that Edsall is gone, hopefully we can all root for MD's players, and hope for a division win. Beating Franklin for a second straight year could only help in the local recruiting battles.

I'm just looking forward to seeing my first game in M&T. Been there for Ravens practices, never for a game. We've got some good seats too, field level in the corner of the end zone.

It'll be interesting to see how the team looks in their first game under Locksley. Hanging tight with Ohio State for 3 quarters probably gives them some confidence. And Penn State is the closest thing we have to a B1G rivalry. You know Franklin wants revenge for the no-handshake incident (and the whole fact that the Terps beat him in Happy Valley).

This figures to be about as ugly a game as least season's was, between arguably the two worst offenses in the conference. But if it's as close, and maybe as chippy, as last year's game was it should at least be somewhat compelling. If the Terps are going to steal a win or two over the rest of the season, this is probably one of the better opportunities. And it would not shock me at all if there is more blue in the stands than red.

Testudo Times: Maryland football re-converts former 3-star recruit Shane Cockerille to quarterback

http://www.testudoti...hane-cockerille

He played a little in the Wild-Crab last week, he'll likely continue to do so throughout the year. He'll serve as the co-backup to Perry Hills alongside Caleb Rowe.

Not surprised by the move, coaches obviously see certain players differently. The way the year began, it looked like the team had a few decent-enough QBs, and Cockerille wanted to get on the field really badly, so the move to FB made sense. Now though, the move back to QB makes sense as well.

Why not....after all the Terps were wildly successful against Penn State back in the day, weren't they?

Wildcrab. That's really cute.

I mean, that's what Locksley and Edsall called it back in 2012 when Shawn Petty was our QB.

Those throwbacks look great, the team may stink but at least they will look good!

A friend has two extra tickets to the game tomorrow for Terps fans (no PSU fans please)....

Section 124 (lower bowl) $150 for the pair (face value). Any takers?

If interested, let me know, or email Jessica Cearfoss at [email protected] directly.

Likely being used some on offense today. That will be interesting.

Terps should be able to play loose, and have some fun today. Good start would help.

Doesn't look like the near sell out they were saying it was...

Terps start out with the ball.
