NY Times: Playboy to Drop Nudity as Internet Fills Demands

http://www.nytimes.c...ayboy.html?_r=0

Sad day. I'm sure everyone remembers the first time they saw one, they found their dads stash, your best friend snuck one on the camping trip....It is what it is, and it's a part of Americana, like it or not. I guess it's going to be more like Maxim Magazine now.

I can't remember the last time I have picked up a Playboy, but when I have kids, I would have probably bought some just so I could hide them and they could...find them...one day...like we all did as kids.

Internet has changed the whole finding porn game. Playboy used to be a great find, Hustler even better. I sometimes resorted to a Good Housekeeping magazine. Kids today will never know that joy.

When my Mom found mine, she gave them to my Dad...

Anyone else care to admit their love of JC Penney catalogs?

I recall the early days of Internet porn. Going into aol chat rooms and "trading" pics and having to save them on a floppy disk

Those were the days.

When i was 9 or 10, I cut pix of bra models out of the Sears catalog...

Goofy little kid that I was, I was amazed that Mom could tell what I'd done, based on nothing except what was suddenly missing from those particular catalog pages   ;-)

I remember when my mom found my stash in my pillow (wtf was I thinking?) and gave it to my dad. Luckily she didn't find the pint of whiskey too lol.

A good friend of mine literally had a recycling bin full of Playboys about a year ago. We'd be hanging out in front of the garage, drinking and trying to find recognizable covers or classics. He kept a few and threw out the rest. Wish I would've kept some myself.
