The writers said they thought season 6 (4 out so far, I've seen the first 3) was going to be better than last year and so far I'm inclined to agree. I still enjoyed 5 alot, but some of those episodes were tough, Rick was so damn cynical. Season 6 is taking it self a little less serious while still continuing some long running story threads but it's been more fun.

Season 5 was definitely the weakest. None of the episodes stood out much.
Agreed on 6 being better so far. The last one was really interesting, even though it wasn't the funniest.

Replacing both the voices will be interesting.

Trailer for season 7 is out. Rick voice is different but close enough that I think I will get used to pretty quickly. Morty voice is spot on. 3 weeks until new episodes come out!

Halfway through season 7. Not many complaints from me. The new Morty voice is spot on, the new Rick is different but I notice it less and less each episode. After 4 "adventure" episodes we got a major "canon" episode for the 5th episode that has lasting implications to the show.

I think it's on par with what they were putting out. After the first 2-3 seasons, we've had one truly great episode a season and some mid ones for the most part. I don't notice the new voices anymore.
The most recent one was the best of the season, but I've enjoyed the other ones.
