Used to play. I taught myself and was ok at it. For some reasin i only got better when I played with other people. But I havent had time to play and have touched my guitar maybe twice in the last year.
I had a James Hetfield model ESP truckster. Sold it a couple years back when I stopped playing often. Only have an Takamine acoustic now.
I really want to learn drums. But I have no room for a drum set and neighbors that live too close.

I played a little guitar in middle school and high school. I'm left handed and learned to play righty. I've always ended up quitting when hitting a wall with strumming and finding individual strings with my right (strum) hand.
I just recently decided to switch to lefty, so I'm relearning from scratch. I bought a Recording King RD-06-L lefty acoustic guitar. It's an inexpensive Chinese made guitar, but it gets great reviews. The sound is incredible for the price.

My dad taught me how to play a vihuela when I was a kid has a higher range then a guitar. If you get me drunk enough I'll play anything, yes even La Bamba

Is anyone here using Yousician or Rocksmith? I've been doing the free lessons on Yousician, it's a lot of fun.
(not me playing, but this is the first lesson)

I got a random urge to buy an acoustic a few weeks ago. I'm thinking of going with a Seagull, but I don't know when I'll actually take the plunge. I still have the Gibson SG, although I'd like to eventually upgrade that to a newer one with a better finish.

I really like Seagull acoustics. Made in Canada, too.I got a random urge to buy an acoustic a few weeks ago. I'm thinking of going with a Seagull, but I don't know when I'll actually take the plunge. I've been buying/selling/trading guitars like some sort of guitar stock broker. I decided to switch back to righty. Traded my two lefties for a Fender Stratocaster. I didn't like the placement of the volume knob or the tremolo bridge, so I determined that what I really want is a Telecaster.
It's on the UPS truck right now headed to my house.

I play at it. The guitars are better than I am.
What do I have?
Acoustic:
* A mid-70's Epiphone 12-string (tuned for slide)
* A mid-70's Yamaha 12-string (std tuning)
* An early 2000's Epiphone Masterbilt AJ-500RA
Semi-hollow body electric
* A '67 Epiphone Riviera 12-string (twin of ES-335 12-string)
* A numbered John Lennon Casino (natural; it's so nice I'm afraid to play it... so I got...)
* A newer unnumbered "Inspired by John Lennon" Casino (sunburst)
Solid body electric
* A '72 Gibson SG (obscure variation on the Std that has an ebony fingerboard)
* A Frankencaster (Strat made from parts)
* A 5-string Thunderbird Pro bass
What do I want?
* Talent
* Discipline
* A Chinese clone of a '60's Gibson Firebird I (no way can I afford a real one)
