A good sign, since the Big Ten isn't usually a very strong Baseball conference.

 

I think Indiana is decent right now, but I can't recall any of those schools being powerhouses besides Nebraska from their Big 8/Big 12 days.

Darin Erstad isn't coming through that door (besides managing), neither is Alex Gordon. When I was in Lincoln, there were quite a few references to the latter.

I'm doing a little research as I type, and Nebraska is still really good, while Indiana is one of the top teams in the country. They're down to their Semis in the tourney: Indiana/Michigan St is one game, and Michigan/Nebraska is the other...

Bodes very well for the Maryland program. Besides Football, Terps will be very competitive in pretty much all sports.

Women's lax in the finals after taking down the powerhouse Northwestern program. What a year for MD athletics besides men's basketball, making a bowl game in football is a decent year IMO.

So proud of the boys for this run. After losing 3 players this off-season that I though would be starters, and losing Jimmy Reed, I was concerned, but they are doing work.

NCAA tourney bracket is released Monday. They're in regardless, but a win might up their seed a little.

 

It's just like Hoops with the 64 teams I think...broken up in sets of 4, double elimination.  I'll post a link to brackets on Monday if Jeremy doesn't beat me to it.

Yeah Super Regionals, according to Wiki, last Tourney appearance was 1971. Is there a Joe Lunardi here of college baseball?

 

There's a Selection Show on Monday on one of the ESPN networks, probably ESPNU.

Thats what I was thinking too. Unless they got lumped more to the northeast. Depends on how many teams in each region I guess.
