It's difficult to even imagine that at one point in my life I tried to start charcoals without a Weber chimney.

I cooked everything on the grill yesterday and had a blast.  Potatoes, lobster tails, steak wrapped in bacon, and my wife's grilled cheese.......

<p>I am pretty sure Shack is thinking of PBR.

Criss-crossed grill marks or no? I think they add to the appearance so I always give what I'm cooking a half turn halfway before flipping it.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Yep, steaks, chops, and chicken breasts get a half turn.

I could lie and say it's about imparting more seared flavor by doubling the marks, but that's horseshit, it just looks pretty.

I vote no for the criss-cross grill marks.  Totally superficial and needlessly makes you open up the grill and let heat out.

Only Kris-Kross I can get behind:

Agreed. Don't open the grill more than necessary. And only flip one time. You can get the criss cross marks if you are using a grill pan or griddle. Or maybe they sell grates for your grill with that pattern.

Moved into a condo two years ago -- biggest bummer is I can't grill.  Really annoys me.

Going with the crab feast this year.

I'll be grilling some beer brats as well... they're pretty amazing, not going to lie.

Have you ever had the brats from Omaha Steak?  They are amazing.

Yep, Omaha Steak is great... Usinger's is the best... have to get it delivered though, but if you've got room to store foods for the winter, highly recommend Usinger's for a number of things.
