This thread is terrible. David Lee Roth is terrible? The singers in Fleetwood Mac? Billy Corgan? Unless you mean personality wise then ok.

Just Stevie Nicks. Cant stand her voice for some reason.
Also loathe the guy from Postal Service among other groups, but wouldnt consider anything he's been ina great band,

Dude, Billy Corgan sings like he has a deviated septum.
But fuck, does it fit. They wouldn't have been nearly as good if Corgan had a better voice, IMO.

When Rush was first starting to gain attention, I believe one review described Geddy Lee's voice as, "a cat in a blender". Three of the most talented musicians on earth, but his voice isn't the greatest. When he sings in a lower register, he's not too bad. When he goes up into that higher register, things get a little more iffy.

By saying "great bands", does that mean that we have to actually like the band?
Because I can't stand the guy's voice from Jane's Addiction. But because of that I dislike them as a band as well.
