Have found myself back into The Simpsons since FXX had their massive run of every Simpsons ever last year.
Just saw this headline... don't know how this can work...

There's still time to bring him back, putting this out there now in public should lead to a deal getting done.

Yeah, had the same thought... just also thought it was strange to get to that point. When you are the only cast member who is holding out, you don't have a ton of bargaining position... even if you do handle multiple voices.

He's back.
Harry Shearer returning to The Simpsons
Despite making regular references to the show around here, I honestly haven't watched an episode in years. Yet, I'm happy to hear about this.

The Ringer: “Monorail!” How Conan O’Brien Came Up With an Iconic ‘Simpsons’ Episode
Saw that, it's a long read haven't read it yet but looking forward to it. Agreed that Monorail is one of the best episodes ever.
This show's classic episodes never get old. I loved this show as a kid, then as a grownup I appreciated the episodes even more as I was old enough to get many of the references and jokes that went over my head as a kid. Now my kids have gotten into it and I'm enjoying the show all over again!

It's Liv's favorite show, we stream and binge a couple episodes a few times a week.

Monday was the 31-year anniversary of "Homer at the Bat". It still cracks me up 3 decades later.
Burns: "Strawberry, hit a home run!"
Strawberry: "Sure thing, skip!"
(hits home run)
Burns: "I told him to do that."

Burns: "I told him to do that."
Burns: I’m putting in a right-handed batter to hit for you.
Strawberry: You’re pinch hitting for me?
Burns: Yes. You see, you’re a left-hander and so is the pitcher. If I send up a right-handed batter it's called playing the percentages. It's what smart managers do to win ball games.
Strawberry: But I've got nine home runs today.
Burns: You should be very proud of yourself. Sit down. Simpson! You're batting for Strawberry.
[Homer proceeds to win game]
[Brandon Hyde furiously takes notes.]
