So most of you know what I do for a living, and last night was possibly the worst loss I've experienced in a while, if not ever.

We had the UNDER 7 in the Astros/A's game. I was scoreless in the 10th inning, and ended up 5-4. with 7 of the runs being scored with 2 outs. Just brutal.

The moral of the story, don't gamble.

That's brutal. 9 extra inning runs? That has to be rare air there.

Yep, and all with 2 outs, including Stephen Vogt legging out an infield single with 2 outs in the 10th on a routine grounder. It was weird.

Both teams scored 2 in the 10th, Houston scored 3 in the the top of the 11th, and of course, Semien hit a 2 run homer in the bottom of the11th.

Insane way to lose a game.

I think I broke my finger hitting the wall...it's completely black and blue this morning. I may go to patient first when I leave my office.

That's really bad. Really really bad.

Damn Seth. Thats like flopping a full house only to have someone else hit runner runner four of a kind.

Years ago I dabbled in betting on NBA games. Without any real strategy, I turned $100 into $1500 in two weeks. When the Nuggets got in that brawl when Melo was there, they were missing their top two or three guys, and going up against the Mavs who were the highest scoring team, 117 ppg or something crazy. I think Dallas was a 16 point favorite which I figured was a lock given the missing players for Denver and the high powered Mavs offense.

Mavs didnt cover by 1. Bet my whole $1500 on that game.

Best win ever....Around that same time when online poker and gambling was booming, I was learning casino games, in particular roulette. This one site that I used that accepted American players, I spotted a flaw in their game. The zero would hit atleast once every 15-30 spins. The casino wants the zero to hit because none of the outside bets win. So they must have had it written in the program to hit often. I bet the minimum on two of the 12s just to try to stay even, then when it got to 20 spins without a zero I bet the zero big. In a weekend I had won $12k. Cashed it out before I did something dumb, and the site emailed me saying there was a problem. My winnings sent up red flags and they fixed the glitch. They ended up keeping $2500 of my winnings for a "fee", but im sure its because they got taken and knew I wouldnt say anything. Roulette was out of service for a few days and then it was very random when I went back.

I lost a cool buck fitty in a casher last night when my big-blind-no-raise flops a full house... only to have the dbag non-raisers pocket aces turn an ace to have an aces full. Fucking ridiculous. 5 handed, too.

I've got 4 L's in a row in my name... and in bars, people will take the bet about that... why would they?

(Because they've been in a bar for a while....)

This is a pretty incredible story. I would have been nervous to get it up that high, I would have kept withdrawing but I guess it's easier said than done...had to stop when you're on that run.

Here's a crazy story. I have a Sportsbook account. I had like a $100 parlay that paid $1500 during the 2013-2014 college bowl season. I think the last game was Michigan State ML over Ohio State. Won that. Then I put $1500 on the Central Florida moneyline, which was +400, when they played Baylor in I believe the Fiesta Bowl. Then I turned that $6000 into 21K playing blackjack....

And lost it all....

You live and you learn, right?
