I mean we should probably just DFA him for the 40 man spot.
Or we can be happy that he seems to be reasonably on track for coming back mid year as was always planned, while recognizing that TJ return isn't automatic and things can always go wrong.

+/- June 15th for his first start. And then we will see what feel he has for his changeup.

Consider the source. Two broken records.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

You aren't being pessimistic in the right way, he'll be ready once he's a Nashville Oriole

This is one of those wierd things where we think common "sources" can't be wrong...
..but MLBTR has Means listed in the post 2023 (for the 2024 season) FAs. He's a FA after the 2024 season, not after the 2023 season. The Orioles will control him through ARB3 for the 2024 season. I'm guessing it's a bad read on his contract (which he signed last year after having TJS, that was an odd case), but that contract was for his 2022 arbitration (first year) but, because of the lockout, everything got bumped well to the right. The 2-year deal covers 2022 and 2023.
Brad or someone, let them know.
EDIT: Fixed now.
