Moser turned down St. John's...

Johnnies giving UCLA a run for their money in "worst coaching search process" of 2019.

So, I think St. John's officially has UCLA beat.

Their billionaire alumni booster, Mike Repole (founder of Vitamin Water and Body Armour), went off on the administration yesterday:

https://wfan.radio.c...coaching-search

Oh and Clueiss withdrew his name and apparently they're now looking at Frank Haith.. At this point, just ask Pitino.

Looks like Mike Anderson is getting the St John's job.

This comes after St. John’s was reportedly rejected by coaches at UMBC, Loyola-Chicago and Iona. That’s incredible. At least UCLA got rejected by coaches it had no business even talking with. St. John’s' search is dumber. Couldn’t hire coaches it should easily be able to hire.

Anderson is one of just 5 current Division I head coaches with 15+ years of experience and no losing seasons, along with Mark FewTom IzzoJim Boeheim and Roy Williams.

Did not know that!

FIRE IT BACK UP!

John Beilein just agreed to a five year deal to become the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Good for the Terps. Dude can coach. And recruit. Huge loss for Michigan.

That’s a major step down. Lol.

Awesome for MD.  Beilein coaches the pants off of Turge.

Now if 11 other coaches would leave the conference we’d be all set.

Really late to get a new head coach. I have to assume Juwan Howard gets a long look.

I figured they would just elevate someone from the asst coaching staff and have them coach for next year and then re-evaluate.

Always rumors swirling around Donovan going back to the college game...is Michigan a big enough job for him?

Have to think Michigan is probably guilty of some recruiting infractions too. Usually a good time to bolt to the pros

Michigan is a huge job. Should always be a power.  I've had Donovan on my dream list for MD.
Michigan currently a better program.

Absolutely. That would suck.

Great question, it's been propelled to that of late, historically it's really not so who knows.

It's definitely a "Football School", and sort of falls into my Texas argument from a few years back when Shaka went there.

I would say no, gun to my head, but he could do a hell of a lot worse if he came back to college.

He did do great at a “football school”, so that may not bother him.

OTOH, he may have witnessed what that’s like and prefers to stay away from it again.

Much like Pedro, it could go both ways.

All good points.

Especially the third part.
