Not sure why, but I have a good feeling about tonight.

One key for tonight is how the Terps defend IU's "small ball" approach. I'm sure no one expected that once Coach Crean inserted 6'8" Colin Hartman at the 5 that he'd change the whole complextion of the Hoosier offense.
The 5-Out can be very effective. Here are some links if you want to brush up before tonight's B10 tilt.

Beatiful in it's simplicity. I used in one coaching HS when we had zero post presence and size. It uses ball handling and shooting ability to stretch the defense.
Biggest concern is the UCLA Cut. Terps were beaten 5 times by my count last contest.

The video shows the PG rolling thru but as you can see in the video he would have been open for a lay-up if the wing would have made his pass. Defense requires communication on upscreen and good ball pressure. Let's see what UMD does tonight.

Ponied up for tix tonight.
They better not piss me off.
You guys will miss me in the game thread.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Will be getting in line about an hour before gates open. Hoping for some kick-ass seats. Not sure how I feel about this game, but I can't see them getting manhandled at home. Think it'll be close.

I do like that MD has been hyping up throwback week for a while leading up to this. Playing songs from 2002 and wearing your favorite players jerseys from that team etc. Definitely doing a good job trying to ignite a rivalry. Winning tonight would help as well.
Remember when the Wizards drafted Jared Jeffries and Juan Dixon with the #11 and #17 overall picks in the draft? In a related story, remember when the Wizards made the playoffs once in fifteen seasons?

They are winning tonight. If they arent up for this game they really are in trouble.

Im ok with Pack starting. Nickens scoring off the bench. Pack does more rebounding. Better defense.
