The part that got me laughing the most, especially being a prosecutor myself, was where Jimmy is doing his closing and wags his finger at his clients that they won't be doing that again!  That, and "my clients, who are almost honor students."  Almost???  LOL

That was a great scene. The prosecutor then pulls out the TV and I'm thinking, OK, they're going to show them breaking a window and stealing stuff or something. Haa.

There was definitely about 40 minutes of trying to figure out what's going on. Who's who. Is Chuck his brother? They really never came out and said it. Also, whats his ailment that he cant be around electricity? Also you start wondering when he changes to Saul. Does he change his name to avoid creditors?

Is the nail salon where his office is the business he wanted to let Walt and Jessie use to launder their money?

I like how hes walking towards his white Cadillac only to show him get into his beater. Loved the premier. Should only get more intense.

They've already set up a plausible reason for the name change if it's the road they want to head down: he cares enough about his brother that when financial circumstances force him into dealing with less savory characters he changes his name to "build his own reputation".

That was a tough scene, though. You could see the hurt on his face when Chuck said that.

"I just talked you down from a death sentence to six months' probation. I'm the best lawyer ever."

I missed Tuco the psychopath.

God the Montage was so great. "You must have the stickers or you don't pass!"... "it's... show time."

I'm going to love this show.

Vince Gilligan is great at getting the ball rolling fast and early. Did it with Breaking Bad and again here. Most shows you need to build it up first.

I've tried to get into Mad Men for months now. Its a chore because 6 episodes in still nothing has happened. He cheats on his wife. Ok...and...

Yea, this show is off to a good start for sure.

I saw that it was the highest rated cable premiere ever last night too.

Btw...Gilligan must be a Scarface fan. The grandmother in tonight's episode was at least the third member of that movie he has had in his shows.(at least this one and BB)

Btw...Odenkirk is just really good.

He was good in BB but overshadowed somewhat. He looks like he can carry his own hit show.

That's what I thought the first time, too, and I fell out after about six episodes. Trust me, push through.

(Stuff has happened, by the way :P)

You almost have to watch each episode twice b/c you miss stuff, especially the little script tweaks for Jimmy that make something funny but come out so fast you miss it.

It's nice to have a show where the writers are smart and don't try to dumb things down.

Second ep was fucking awesome.  I'm hooked.  Can't wait until Ehrmantraut gets involved beyond just the parking booth, though even that small role has been great.

Good start. Odenkirk is great, and he'll need to continue to be to make this all work.

Wendy, the meth-addicted hooker, is also listed in the episode cast.

Would never have noticed without imdb. Did they have major roles, or were they just cameos?

Don't know. Didn't actually see them. So I'm guessing just background cameos.
