Village Whiskey is pretty cool, especially if you have a lady friend who isn't that into beer.
Not a problem there. Guys trip. No girls allowed.

Sucks it's a mid-week series, or else I would totally be there.

Don't get a Fenway Frank. They're broiled and cold and gross. A "dirty water" dog to the worst degree.
Honestly? Best bet for food/drinks is pregaming around the park. There are some great spots. Avoid the Cask and Flagon. It's a tourist trap. "Best Sports Bar in America" my rear.

So Norwegian Air just announced non-stop service from BWI to Martinique and Guadeloupe -- two hard to reach Caribbean islands that are French overseas territories. My wife and I booked a trip to Guadeloupe for next February for $607 total (not per person), including a $34 bag charge. That's incredibly cheap. Before NA started this route, it could have cost $700 a person to fly to these islands.
NA is a budget airline, so they charge you to choose your seat, which we didn't...so we'll probably be sitting apart from each other.
The fares for Martinique are even cheaper, but they fly Fri-Fri out of BWI and we didnt want to have to burn another day of vacay to go for a week.
Look into it if you want to take a trip in the winter doldrums next year.
But within the last 2 months, my wife and I have booked a 2 week trip to Montenegro and Croatia in September, and now a week in Guadeloupe in February.

Going to Sarasota in March. Will be going to Pittsburgh in March as well if the Terps end up there.
Florida Keys is a possibility in April, as is Boston.
Ocean City in May.
Buffalo/Niagara/Toronto in June.
San Francisco some time in the fall.
Vegas in early September.
Ended up not going to the Keys.
About to book a trip to Chicago next month. This will be my third straight summer going to Chicago on a baseball trip -- quickly becoming one of my favorite easy trips to take.

Just booked flights to Thailand the day after Thanksgiving for my honeymoon!!!
The dates for the flights we had been looking at dropped by over $200 today so I snatched them up. Round trip for just under $900 a person.

Flying in and out of Bangkok. We haven't booked anything yet, but we're gonna do a few days there first, then go to Cambodia for a day or two to visit Angkor Wat, we may consider Chang Mai for a couple days. Then we're going south down to Phuket and hopping around as many islands as we can 2-3 days at a time. I think we need to pick west coast islands because the east side can have bad weather that time of year. I've got a few friends who have been (and one more who is going next week after he takes the bar) so we'll have some experiences to draw on when we're looking to decide where to go and where to stay.
Biggest objective is we need to get scuba certified before leaving, as I definitely would like to do some diving. We took the pool training class a couple years ago but didn't do the quarry dive in time so that expired and we have to do the whole thing again.
