Tony update on OH, doesn't sound like Weams is doing better.
I liked how Tony chose to begin his post about Weams:
Another thing to love about weams is his absolute loyalty to me,

Im shocked that Tony questioned why we didnt protect Mercedes in the minor league portion of the R5 draft a few years back. What an eye for talent. Meanwhile I had absolutely no clue the the guy was ever in our organization. I say that as someone who considers himself pretty familiar with the Os farm system.

The dude is a total narcissist.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Got my second shot on Monday.
Have/had zero side effects.
So of course now, me being me, I am paranoid that it's not working lol.
What a time to be alive!

Don't worry, that tracking chip is fully operational.

He sure spends a lot of time at The Block. I thought Brandon Scott closed it down.

Mercedes was definitely a guy that was discussed. He was basically an all bat "catcher" who always faced whispers of attitude/maturity issues. I'm skeptical that his current hot streak will become anything more than Newhan-esque, but we'll see.

Aren't you that one that is always already there whenever I roll in?

I've said it before and I'll say it again -- if someone wants my identity they can have it. But they also get the massive debt and the Orioles' fandom.

I'm only there for the wings from Crazy John's.

My youngest (6) is becoming quite the jaded O's fan already and I love it. A month or so ago he told me "I like the Orioles even though they aren't that good" last week when I let him know the game was tied 2-2 he remarked "well, that's something!"

I get it, but when I was six the Orioles were getting ready to make their run to three straight World Series.
Back then, I expected the Orioles to contend all of the time.
What a difference fifty years makes!

What I'd give to experience this.
It's hard to fathom it even happened. When I watch the old games on YouTube, it's constant goose bumps.

I have been amazed at the perseverance of my 14-year old. He takes it so seriously and has endured so much heartache. And yet I know at 8:05 tonight he'll be there ready for the game to start, expecting them to win for some reason.
