I remember Miller saying sometime in TC last year that we were discussing a trade for Boykin with Phi. Why we never made that deal then is still baffling.

Gotta agree. He's one of, if not the best nickel corner in the game. A secondary of Smith, Webb and Boykin as your starters would be pretty sick.

Really frustrating to see division rivals make a trade like that. For a conditional 5th too, what a missed opportunity.

He's probably not much better than Arrington and you didn't have to give up a pick to get him.

Yeah but we need the depth there. If you can turn your 5th round pick into a starter even if only for one year (not to mention comp pick value) every year, you'll be in a pretty good place.

Pricetag just wasn't that high...

The Patriots just cut Matt Flynn.  Would you prefer him as a backup over Schaub?   I have zero confidence in Schaub.  But, then again, if Flacco goes down, the season is shot anyway...

Sounds like Schaub isn't going to make the team as is...but Flynn is injured, no?

Yep, you're right, I missed that.  Flynn "pulled his hamstring before camp and it never healed".

Rotoworld says Rob Housler is being pushed for a roster spot by an UFA TE. That probably means his stock is low and he isn't likely to produce this season but he was a name tossed around this offseason as someone the Ravens should target. That was before the team drafted Williams and Gillmore seems to be doing well, so there is less of a need but just something to keep an eye on.

I like Housler...I just don't think there's a roster spot for anyone that's not a corner or a major ST guy right now.

If means is out long-term maybe a spot at OLB. The roster is insanely tight at the moment though.

With the injury to Urban I still wouldn't mind seeing the Ravens bring in Red Bryant but the Bills signed him yesterday...

One of these two is a lying sack of shit.  Crazy how people just decide to lie and make something up as serious as this is or could be.  There is no agreed-upon middle ground here.  Sanders either did this and is now lying and smearing her to try and get out of it or this lady just completely made up the entire thing and is continuing to lie about it trying to get...money I guess?

I feel really bad for one of these people and really angry towards the other one.  Just have no idea who is deserving of which.

As long as he continues to stay out of trouble this is a great move. He's a really good player.

Smart to keep the contract short. Great move, I believe pro football focus rated him as the best rated saftey last year. Not 100% on that.

Based on media reports and the NFLPA information, the breakdown of Will Hill's new deal would be:

Yea, its a fantastic gamble by the team.

If he is a troublemaker during the season and is suspended for a while, i will still like the deal.

He's an excellent talent signed for next to nothing on a short term deal.  Great move.
