Yeah. I cant believe he turned it down. He definitely loves his guys. He also has Machado and is stingy with him too. I guess because its six keepers each year, he would have to drop two other guys he likes to take on this three. But Goldy, MCab, Puig and Manny, are a lot better than Trout and Manny, and I cant even remember who his other keepers were.

Another guy in that league with Stanton wants a kings ransom for him too. Its simply a man crush.

Making moves in one keeper league already. 

 

Rules that are too complicated to get into, made it so that a guy in the league with Trout and Kershaw, is not able to keep both. I have the 8th pick out of 14 teams. Looking at the others teams keepers, and myself not having a keeper in the first two rounds, means I would very likely have the fourth overall pick of the remaining pool of players, and very likely the fifth overall pick as the first and only pick in round two. 

 

So I traded George Springer (3rd round keeper) and Robinson Cano (5th round keeper) to the guy for Kershaw (1st round) and Brian Dozier (8th round). 

 

 

So I went from....

 

R1: 4th overall pick

R2: 5th overall pick

R3: Springer (keeper)

R4: Gerrit Cole (keeper)

R5: Cano (keeper)

R6: Wainwright (keeper)

R7: Pick

R8: Pick

 

To....

 

R1: Kershaw

R2: 4th overall pick

R3: 12th overall pick

R4: Cole

R5: pick

R6 Wainwright

R7: Pick

R8: Dozier 

 

Getting Dozier three rounds after Cano seems like incredible value, given Dozier's power, and he's 28 y/o while Cano is 33. Dozier also led all 2B in Home Runs, Runs, and XBHs in 2015, and was second in walks and RBI. 

 

That 4th overall pick likely gets me one of Altuve, Batista, Marte, Blackmon, Cespedes, Sale.
