Adnan Syed hearing: Legal expert says failure to call alibi witness 'changed the ballgame's result'
They lead with the Asia McClane part, but it's the phone records that interest me. How can they claim they knew where he was when the same technology was also placing him in Washington?

Regardless, with the phone pings, incoming calls were used for location collaboration in one spot. It was an important one, the burial spot. But he still pinged where Haes car was found and other places through the day with outgoing calls.
Asia didn't help much as far as alibi. She saw Adnan from 2:15 to 2:40. People saw Hae near 3.
Adnan may get a new trial, plea out, and go home. But he killed that girl.

The Sun: Retired Baltimore surveyor retraces steps of 'Serial' murder investigation
Just an interesting article on one of the tertiary people involved in the investigation and the series. I especially like the part where he found out that he died in 2010

I think he deserves a new trial, but think he's still 95% guilty. The real losers in this are Hae's family. 18 years later, all those wounds will be ripped open again.
I'm sure the popularity of the podcast has already done that.
Agree that I think he did it, but I'm one of those lame hedgers that thinks they didn't have enough evidence to convict him (though of course, the podcast was trying to sell that argument).

Just listened to Episode 1. Only 1 episode but more on par with Season 1 than 2.

Ugh, Episode 4 is a tough listen (in regards to the content). I hope there aren't too many more like that.
