Phillies just announced they have 2 positive tests. Ugh.
It's a coach and someone in the clubhouse staff. Their series vs. the Jays has been postponed.
Why aren't they using the 60 man roster? What's the point of that, if you aren't going to use it?

I think I read one coach and one clubhouse staff but would not be surprised if we start to see more as the week progresses

Because teams don't want to add additional players to their 40-man roster (whether they are ready or not, or they may not have the space).
The 40-man and service time is the issue here, not the 60-man pool..

Everyone has a game plan until they get punched in the mouth.

They shut down all activity at their ballpark.

So on Friday I had a most-of-the-day-drive as the Dombrowski news was circulating.
On one of the early shows on MLB Radio, they were talking about how this was the 3rd attempt to land Dombrowski.
One of the factors for them going back for the third time and essentially giving him whatever it was he wanted (including apparently the League suggesting Nashville wasn't getting a Team anytime soon) was that apparently MacPhail had been justifying the state of the Organization to owner John Middleton, but as they started the interview process with other executives, there was a fair disparity between what Middleton was being told internally and the external position that others were bringing to him.
In addition they were discussing all of the internal problems that Phillies were having in terms of communication and other related things.
Supporters of AM blamed Angelos for his issues, but he had all of the opportunity to do basically whatever he wanted in Philly, however he wanted to do it (rebuild, IFA, analytics, spend, everything) and they are a bottom of the Division team after 5+ seasons.
He inherited much of his success in MIN and left a disaster.
He was terrible in CHC.
He was terrible in BAL.
He was terrible in PHI.
This should end the debate. MacPhail was bad at his job. Period.

Yikes. What accomplishment would he use as a resume builder for the HoF?
He has zero accomplishments in Chicago, Baltimore or Philly. What exactly is your standard for getting into the Hall?
Steve Pearce has a WS MVP and Ring. Is he getting in the Hall?
