The game time and TV broadcast information was just announced today, and the Terps play another Noon game on Saturday in Happy Valley. Penn State is coming off of a double-overtime loss to Ohio State at home last week. Christian Hackenburg is one of the best quarterbacks in the country, but the Nittany Lions have struggled to get a run game going this season. That portion of their game took a massive hit last week as well, as starting RB Zach Zwinak injured his left leg and was carted off of the field. The severity of his injury is unknown.

Penn State's record on the season so far is 4-3 (1-3 Big Ten Conference). The Nittany Lions have lost 3 straight games: vs. Northwestern, @ Michigan, and vs. Ohio State. Their wins include vs. UCF (in Dublin), vs. Akron, @ Rutgers, and vs. Massachusetts. Their only convincing win came over UMass, who they beat 48-7.

Penn State:

247.0 passing yards per game (35th in country)

82.1 rushing yards per game (123rd in country)

21.6 points scored per game (106th in country)

17.4 points against per game (9th in country)

Maryland:

236.4 passing yards per game (65th in country)

137.5 rushing yards per game (98th in country)

31.6 points scored per game (52nd in country)

29.3 points against per game (84th in country)

Combined records of the teams the Terps have played so far is 36-24.

Combined records of the teams the Nittany Lions have played so far is 28-26.

Everyone should put $1,000 on Penn State. Vegas is offering to pay your bills for you this month.

So the Terps, after mustering nothing but a cheap TD in the waning seconds vs Wisconsin, are now going on the road to face one of the Top 10 defenses in the country, and have to keep it within 2.5? Oh, and PSU's coach has had this game circled since the day he was hired. Time to cash out the retirement nest egg and let it ride on the Lions.

Seriously get 2.5 while you can. It will definitely move to a FG, maybe even 3.5 before the game Sat

LOL!   2.5 points?   They will be lucky to be within 20 points.   Wait...I think I said this about the Wisconsin game, too!

Prediction: Spencer Barks outscores the entire UM football team.

Game notes were released this evening: https://www.nmnathle...DB_OEM_ID=29700

No major changes to the depth chart. Amba Etta-Tawo has beaten Malcolm Culmer for the backup flanker spot behind Marcus Leak. Very encouraging to see Matt Robinson listed as a starter. Perhaps that shoulder injury isn't as serious as was originally thought.

As a former WMUC employee, let me say that Penn State and anyone from there can go fornicate themselves with an iron stick.

Chris is out this afternoon, so you're stuck with me in the thread. Game kicking off in a few minutes here. Rain could play a role in this game.
