I'm not a big soccer fan, but I went to both of the previous games (got seats in the second row for the Man City-Inter Milan match for nothing on Stubhub) and had a good time. I'll probably go to this one as well.

I am going and I'm looking forward to it. Thanks to Fox Soccer and Fox Soccer Plus I can watch the entire Liverpool season. I know it's a meaningless, overpriced friendly but I see it as another step towards adding a professional team to the Baltimore ranks. These two teams also represent something kind of big to the Mid-Atlantic region. Warrior and Under Armour are going to be sponsoring the kits for both teams in the coming years. So expect soccer to gain even more traction around here with Under Armour.

If I wasn't going to be down OC I would be going...I my keep my eye on stubhub and if I end up seeing some stuff very cheap, I may come home a day early to go to the game. Could be a barren Liverpool team with all the talk of change coming to the roster this offseason.

In my current column in the May issue of PressBox, I examine the return of the "world's game" to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore http://bit.ly/KcYFdC

Baltimore Business Journal 6/25: 30,000 tickets sold

It is very important for Baltimore's soccer future, to have another strong showing. Hopefully we see this number grow in the next couple of weeks.

Baltimore Business Journal: ESPN2 to air the game

Going to be another chance for Baltimore to show the country the enthusiasm that exists here for soccer. Hope there can be a large ticket push the next couple of weeks.

I am excited to go to the game tomorrow. It looks like Liverpool will be playing most, if not all, of the Euro players. It should be a good preview of the season and how Rodgers style will fit in on Merseyside.
