“Up to” 3.1M, hopefully it’s a lot of incentives and base a lot less than that. He had 5 fumbles on 115 touches last year.

Did they guarantee him money? This is bizarre if they're handing him a roster spot. I'm fine with it as insurance in case Dobbins does something stupid, but don't think there is a need if Dobbins is active.

I think this has more to do with Gus Bus who can’t seem to get healthy.

They like have loved him for years. Its hard not to think the money could have been better spent but they want 3 reliable RBs going into camp it seems. Those two injuries in 21 spooked them is my guess. Dont think this really says much about JK or Gus

Has he been dealing with things offseason??
I think this has more to do with Gus Bus who can’t seem to get healthy.

Yeah, he’s been rehabbing all off-season, but they haven’t announced what specifically it is, he’s rehabbing. He didn’t participate in team drills whatsoever during mandatory minicamp. He also didn’t participate in OTA’s, but was in the building rehabbing.

I think he would really have to turn back the clock to get anywhere near the 3m number. If he does it will be money well spent.

I wonder if they are worried JK is going to hold out?
I'm thinking it's more likely EDC is covering his ass in case of injuries. I think he's still shellshocked from 2 years ago. Dobbins holding out would be epically stupid on his part.

We shall see. I think we will see in pre-season if Ingram still has something in the tank.

Yeah. I’m not surprised they got a 4th back. I’m surprised if the 4th back costs much more than the minimum. And that they went for a 30 year old that had trouble seeing the field and was down to 3.5 ypc when he did. But we’ll see.

That’s a shame. I’m a big Dobbins fan and defender. But he told the world he wasn’t injured when he didn’t come to workouts, but here we are. Injured.
